Preparing for a moot court, working methodology, background information on legal research and writing, structure of the case

Background class on applicable substantive law (to be determined in accordance with the topic of the moot court compromis)

Developing research strategies, identifying sources, organization

Variations of argumentation, understanding nuances of oral arguments, court etiquette

Workshop on selected topics of procedure and substantive law

Teamwork and team coordination, oral argument preparation

Preparing the correct Memorial form and legal citations

Teamwork and team coordination, oral argument preparation

Workshop on the Memorials; in-class review and discussion of submitted memorial drafts, trouble-shooting writings, format, citation

We will use this session to prepare for written submission. It's Q&A and brainstorming session where you will have a chance to answer all you your questions.
