Old and new cleavages and battlegrounds in both national and transnational contexts. Uncovering and understanding old and new dominant cleavages based on value orientations and moral politics. Available data and their interpretation, examples of essential sources and databases. Introduction to comparative approach to so called „Culture Wars then and now, in Europe, the U.S., and beyond.
