12. Week 12 - Late 19th century + early 20th century

Description: Variety of art styles represented by the art movements of realism, romanticism, art nouveau, impressionism and modern styles like cubism and related styles DUE TO HAVING TO CONTINUE THE LECTURE ONE MORE WEEK ONLINE, THE LECTURE WILL FOLLOW THE WEEK 13 TOPIC DESCRIPTION FROM THE SYLLABUS. THE FIELD TRIP WILL BE MOVED TO TUESDAY, WEEK 13. Homework: Written Short Research Paper 2 – 5%, DUE week 13 to Neo - Students will use online sources of the National Gallery, Schwarzenberg Palace Final Summary, 25%, information hand-out: Review of lectures from weeks 7, 8, 9, 10 + 13

13. Week 13 - review

First part of the class takes place in the classroom - 2 students will present their presentations. Right after that - a class visit of the National Gallery in Prague – Old Masters, Schwarzenberg Palace – focus on the Renaissance and Baroque periods + Prague Renaissance and Baroque palaces, (St. Vitus cathedral) / with the lecturer Homework: Work on the Final Summary, 25%, information hand-out in week 11: Review of lectures from week 7, 8, 9, 10 + 13

14. Week 14 - Art of the second half of the 20th century + early 21st century
